Time to express an interest in the official Acorn biography

December’s RISC OS User Group of London (ROUGOL) meeting featured Rob Napier as the guest speaker, on the subject of the book he has been working on. Titled “Voices from a Future Passed”, the book is the official biography of Acorn Computers, and Rob went over various aspects of the book and that biography at the meeting.

The book is planned for release as a paperback at the start of March, with an expected price of $19.95 in the UK, and corresponding amounts in other currencies/parts of the world. It should be available through Amazon, as well as selected museums and retro computing organisations.

Rob has set up a website describing the book, including a brief description of what each chapter is about, at doitonce.net.au, where you can also register your interest in the book, as well as nominate a museum or other not-for-profit retro computing group to receive a donation out of the sales of the book.
